Topic: Turning Your Business Ideas into a Reality

Starting your own business can sometimes feel overwhelming. "My goal has always been to help the business owner breakdown the steps and putting them in touch with the resources to help achieve their goals.” This session will provide an overview of how to take that idea and/or plan and turn it into a “bankable” solution.

Rhonda is a commercial lender with Union Bank. She specializes in working with the Small Business Administration and other organizations to provide financing alternatives for her clients. Rhonda has 30 years of banking experience. She began her career as a teller and eventually became a member of the Senior Management Team of Union Bank. During her professional career she attended Johnson State College through the External Degree Program, received several certifications through the Center for Financial Training and later became an instructor for CFT.

Prior to that, Lisa worked in the hospitality & tourism industry for over 25 years. Lisa lives in Stowe with her husband, two teenage children, two dogs, and a cat.
